AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT OF EASEMENT
WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ACTING BY AND
THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY, GRANTING TO THE
CITY OE ALAMEDA AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD 01 STREET
(NAVAL AIR STATION—NORTHERLY SIDE OF ATLANTIC AVENUE).
WHEREAS, the Secretary of the Navy, acting on behalf of the United State'
Government, pursuP.ht to the provisiens cf Title 10, 11. S. Code, Section 2665, has
submitted a form of agreement for an easement for the use, maintenance and operation
of 9 road or street across, in and upon lands of the United States, situated fn the
area of Atlantic Avenue, in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of Cali-
fornias and more particularly described ir said proposed emsemnt; and
WHEREAS, the form of said arTaement for easement has been presented to
this Council and this Council is familiar with the provisions and conditions thereof;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that said agreement for easement
should be executed;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL 01 THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid proposed agreement for easement, and the terms and conditions thereof,
be, and the same is hereby accepted anU approved by the City of Alameda, and the
Mayor of the City of Alameda. is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment on behalf of tte City of Alameda, and the City Clerk is directed to attest the
same.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 19th day of January, 1960, by the following vote,
to wit:
Councilmen Collischhnn, Freeman, Petersen, Schacht and
