ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR PLANTING AND ESTABLISHMENT OF LAWN FOR A PORTION
OF HRUSI PARK, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SA:ME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for the planting and establishment of lawn for a portion of Krusi Park,
numbered PW 5-0-9 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 3, 1960;
NOW THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AL,WEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the Sarre are hereby approved end adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work sneci-
fisd 11 said Specifications and Provisions be, and the came is hereby authorized_
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bide up to the hour of 11100 o'clock e.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 13, 1960, for furnish-
ing to the City of al] labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary
for the work hereinahoye referred to, in accordance with seid Specifications and
Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City. Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Planting and Establishment of Leer for a Portion of Krusi Park," or similar
designation,
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The rig,nt lo reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The ('1 ty Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
ticn and of said Specifications and Provisions.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City pf Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 3rd day of Na, 1960, by the following vote, to wit:
