CANZWLEING CITY. TAXES 01 PROPETY ACQUIRED ReY THE
CITYOF ALAMEDA FORMUNICIEAL PURPOSES (POWELL).
WHEREAS the following described real pronerty, situated in the City of
Alameda, County of Alameda, Stale of Ca,ifornia, to kit;
Tex Dill No. 1s22, 1959-1960 Assessor's TiocX INT,
Plate Earold W. 11. Virvinia H. Powell: E. J. Powell
:Teals P. Wittenau (Powell Blid.),
has been assessoP heretofore for City purposes for the fiscal year 1.959-196n, 2nd
taxes, penalties and costs levied thereon in the sum of St9.PC are uncol1ected and
unpaid; nnd
WHEaEAS, after the time said taxes ow assessments became a lien on said
real property, it was, to Deeds recorded in the office of the County Recorder of
Alamda County on April 6, 1960, RE: 061 IMU 589, 593, 598, 602u AR 39951-2-3-4,
acquired, and. ever since has been and now is owned by the City of Alkpreda, and. 1D.S
been and now is being used for public purposes, and because of such public owner-
ship is not subject to sale for delinquent taxes;
NOW' THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, with
the written consent of the City Attbrney attached hereto, that all uncollected taxes
charged or levied for City purposes upon the aforesaid real property, together with
penalties and costs thereon, be, and the same are hereby, cancelled, and the Auditor
and the Tax Collector of ti, 0t of Alameda are hereby authorized and directed. to
cancel the same on their respective books.

I, Frank Annibale, City Attorney- of tie City of Alameda, State of California,
do hereby consent to the cancellation of any and all uncollected. tames and assessments
and penalties and costs thereon, charged or levied for City purposes upon the parcel
of real property described in the within 'Resolution.
