WHEREAS, the City .gineer has prepared Specifications, Special. Provisions
and. Plans for the reconstruction and gidening of Versailles Avenue between Santa
Clara Avenup and. Buena Vista Avenue, numbered PW H-60-10 and filed in the office of
the City Clerk on June 8, 1960;

the aforesaid. Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered. and filed as
aforesaid, be, and. the samo are hereby approved. and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, thRt the nerformance and completion of the -work snecim
find. in said SoecificatU.ons and Provisions be, and the same is hereky, authorized-
ESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Gannon of thr City of Ilameda will receioo
sealed. bids 1: to the hour of 11.:00 o,clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 196B for thr
reconstruction and. widening of Versailles Avenue between Santa. Mora Avenue and
Buena Vista Avenue, and the furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery,
tools and equipment necessary for the work hareinabove referred to, in accorhance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must bA presented to tne City Clerk,
in the City Ball, Alnimsda, California, under sealed covar and plainly markod on the
outside,"Proposal for Reconstruction and Widening. of VersaillAs Avenue between Santa
Clara Avenue and '3 /00/ Vista Avenue", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded. subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of AlansOn, to the responsible bidder who submits tne lowest end
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may. be hied by any prospective bidder on
application to the City. Engineer, at his office in tne City Soil, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed. to advertise, in the Alameda Timeo-Star„
notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with tho provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
