APPOINTING MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the pro-
visions of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination of
the Mayor, A. HUBBARD MOFFITT, JR. is hereby appointed to the office of member of the
Board of Education of the City of Alameda for a term commencing on .Tuly 1, 1960 and
expiring on June 30, 1965, and to serve until his successor is appointed and is
qualified.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Hesolutibn was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 21st day of June, 1960, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Collischonn, Freeman, Schacht and
President McCall, (4).
NOES: None.
NOT VOTING: Councilman Petersen, (1).
ABSENT: None.
