ADOPTING BUDGET, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WTTH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
FOR EXPENDITURE OF GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY
STREETS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1960-1961.
WHEREAS, the State of California has submitted a Memorandum of Project Agree-
ment in accordance with a project statement submitted by the City of Alameda for
expenditure of Gas Tax Allocation for Major City Streets for the fiscal year 1G60-
1961; and
WHEREAS, the City Council. is familiar with the contents of said agreement
and it is in the public interest that said agreement should be executed;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
said project statement be, and it iz hereby adopted as the budget of proposed
expenditures of gas tax allocation, and that said Memorandum of Agreement be, and
the same Is hereby approved, and that the Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to execute sai.d. Agreement on behalf of the City of
Alameda, and the City Clerk is authorized to attest the same, said Agreement to be
binding upon the City upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State,

the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 21st day of June, 1960, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Collischonn, Freeman, Petersen, Schacht and
President McCall, (5).
NOES: Ncna.
ABSENT: None,
