AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE
CITY CF ALAMEDA AND THE ALAMEDA FAMILY SERVICE AGENCY,
A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION, FOR A ONE-YEAR PERIOD, SAID
AGREEMENT RELATING TO FURNISHING OF THE SERVICES OF AN
EXECUTIVE SECRETARY TO THE SOCIAL SERVICE BOARD.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed. that that certain agreement dated July 23,
1957, by and between the City of Alameda and the Alameda Family Service Agency relat-
ing to the furnishing of the services of an Executive Secretary to the Social Service
Board of the City of Alameda be extended on the same terms and conditions for a
period cf one ll) year to June 30, 1961; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Council of the City of Alameda that the
best interests of the City of Alameda will be served by extending said agreement;
NOW THEREFORE', BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THY CITY OF ALAMEDA that
that certain agreement by and between the City of Alameda and the Alameda Family
Service Agency, dated July 23, 1957, and relating to the furnishing of the services
of an Executive Secretary to the Social Service Board of the City of Alameda, is
hereby authorized to be extended for a period of one (1.) year, to and including
June 30, 1961, . on the same terms and conditions of the existing agreement.
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City cf Alameda is hereby
authorized to execute all documents for and on behalf of the City of Alameda neces-
sary to cause the extension of said agreement, and the City Clerk of the City of
Alameda is hereby directed to attest same.

and regularly introduced. and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 21st day of June, 1960, by the following vote, to wit:
