16P, for amerdrent to the Rivers & Harbors of IF/22 snd °tiler rpttors,
rearting, to thL oon3bructIon, maintenance and operation of a new Frultvgle Evenue
3' '5 crossing toe PPP-lend Wstgar g:ag-„ween Citios oi Oakl9nd and AThmeda; and
WFEREAS, said Fruitvale 4-4 '4 04 16" is an important pprt of the trans-
nort,,tLon system providing Inaress and egress to and from tbe City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the City 1' Alameda is vitally interested that the prposals
contained terein be abproved and adopted;
NOW THEREFORE, PE IT RESCIWaPE EY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITE' OF ALUKEDA that
tho Council of the City of ilamgcla endorses and supports the proposals made to thb
Secretary. of the Aagny by the County of Alarneda as contained in that certain letter
to said Secretary dated July 12, 196E relating to the construrtion, oppration end
maintenance of a new Fruityale Avenue bridge, and further urges that said proposals
be approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER PESCI:1,1)1ED that the City Clerk of the City of Alagbda imme-
diately transmit certified copies of this resolution to all pertinent officlais,
persons and organizations.
