WHEREAS, the Girl Scouts of America was, by' asTeement„ permitted use of a.
portion of Oak Street, north of Blanding Avenue, in the City of Alameda, County- of
Alameda, State of California; and.
WHEREAS, both the City of Alameda and the Girl Scouts of Amerioa now find
it mutually desirable to rescind and terminate said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the Cit of Alameda is cognibhmt of the terms of
the proposed. Agreement of Rescission and Terminb.tion;
NOW, THEREFORE, EE IT RESOLOHD BY THE COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. that
the MAyor of the City of Alamedb is hdreby autdhorized to execute, for and on behalf
cf the City of Alemeds, an agreement for the rescission and termination of that
certain agreembnt by and between the City of Alacbda and. the Girl Scouts of America,
which was execnted on. the 19th day of December, 1956 and fAlbd with the clty Clerk
of the City of 13 o, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to the shcb„
