waEREAs, by Resolution No.. 6121, the Council of thb City of Alameda. will
ordbr the vacation. of a portion of Oak Street, no of Blanding Avartmo, in the City
of Alameda; and
TA,InaaAs, the vacation so ongred 0111 result in an additional expense of
$0,750.00 to the City. in the construction of a contemplated storm sewer in the area
involved in said vacation; and
WHEREAS, a certain abutting property owner hat indicated a willingness to
pay unto ths City the amnuxt of soon '1 1' expense; and.
• WHEREAS, it is the Latent of the Council that such order be effective and
in force only at such tins that the City is so paid for such additional expense;
NOW THFREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE 0177 OF ALAMEDA that
Resolution No. 6121 ordmring the vacation of a. certain. portion of Oak Street,
north. of ElandinF Avenue, in the City of Alaoda, shalinot bo in effect and of any
forcb whatsoever until such time o' the City Englneer certifies to the City Clerk
that the smart of EI,750.00 hss been paid unto '.hl City of Alameda for tho narposes
set out above.
HE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk. ba, end. lb hereby, dIreeted not
to record said dEdsr vacating a portion of Oak Street, north. of Blanding Avenue,
until such time as the City. Engineer certifies to the payment referred tc above.
