WHEREAS, the City Engineer 5,' prepared Secifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
remodeling in Room 310, City Hall, numbered KW 10-00-21 and filed in the office of the City Clerk
on October 4, 1960,

RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performauce and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and. Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorised,
RTSOLVED, FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda. will recefve sealed bids up to
the hoar of 11:00 o'clock a. m, on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14, 1960 for furnishing to the City 33 131 lefor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in
accordance with said Specifications and. Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in
the City Nall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainli/marked on the outside, "Proposal
for Remodeling in Doom 510, Cit- Nall," or similar designation,
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provibions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder -wive submits the lovest and best bin': The right is
reserved. to reject any or all bids,
Said Hecidications and. Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on mpplication
to the City Englaktr, at his office in the City Hell, Alameek, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, 1 accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions,

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda, in regular meeting assembled on the
