APPOINTING MEMBER OF THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD,
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the provisions of Article X
of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination of the Mayor, GUSTAVE LEVY is hereby
appointed to the office of member of the Civil Service Board of the City of Alameda for a term expir-
ing on June 30, 1963, to fill the unexpired term of Markham 9. Happ, resigned, and to serve until
his successor is appointed and Is qualified.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th
day of February, 1961, by the following vote, to wit:
