ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
FOUR (4) NEW, 8-CYLINDER, 4-1.X7OR SEDANS, 1961 MODELS WITH
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT -- FORD,
CHEVROLET; PLYMOUTH CLASS, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING
CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing to the City of Alameda four (4) new, 8-cylinder, 4-door sedans, 1961 models with automatic
transmission, for the Police Department -- Ford, Chevrolet, Flrnouth class, No. M5 2-61-1, filed in
the office of the City Clerk on February 7, 1961, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 1000 o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 1961, for furnishing to the City of said auto-
mobiles in accordance, with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must, be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
”Proposal for four (4) 4-door Sedans for Police Department", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will he awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said City,
to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or
all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions.

duced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 71h day
of February, 1961, by the fallowing vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Collischonn, Freeman, Petersen, Schacht and President McCall, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
