RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ENDORSING
CITY OF BERKELEY'S REQUEST FOR GRANT OF MONEYS TO REHABILITATE
THE CITY OF BERKELEY FSSFIING PIER.
WHEREAS, the City of Berkeley has requested a grant of $91,000.00 from the State of
California Wildlife Conservation Board for the purpose of further improving the City of Berkeley
Fishing Fier; and
WHEREAS, said Fishing Pier has been and wi a continue to he utilized and enjoyed by many
persons from the cities of the Bay Area, including the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the provision of such improved public recreation facilities in the City of
Berkeley is of substantial value to the City of Alameda and to all residents of the Bay Area;
NOR THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the request by
the City of Berkeley for a grant of $91,000.00 from the State Wildlife Conservation Board for
rehabilitation of the City of Berkeley Fishing Pier is hereby earnestly endorsed as beneficial to
the City of Alameda.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Alameda transmit certified copies
of this resolution to the pertinent parties.
