RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF
WORK OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS RELATING TO CERTAIN
IMPROVEMENTS ON MOUND STREET AND ASSESSING COST OF CONSTRUC-
TION TO THE RESPECTIVE PARCELS.
WHEREAS, certain improvements have been constructed in Mound Street, between Otis Drive
and Waterton Street, in the City of Alameda, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 27 of the
Improvement Act of 1911, Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, Section 5870, et
seq.; and
WHEREAS, it is found and determined that there has been full compliance with all provi-
sions of said Improvement Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer (Superintendent of Streets) of the City of Alameda has filed
with the Council of the City of Alameda his Report of Work, pursuant to Section 5882 of said Code;
and
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1961, this Council duly heard said Report of Work, together with
any objections or protests by any other persons, pursuant to Section 5883 of said Code;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Report of
Work submitted by the City Engineer of the City of Alameda, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference as if fully set out herein, is hereby confirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost of construction is hereby assessed against each
respective parcel of property as set forth more particularly in the said Report of Work, and if
said assessments are not fully paid within five (5) days after the date of passage of this resolu-
tion the City Engineer of the City of Alameda is hereby directed to file in the office of the
Recorder of the County of Alameda a Notice of Lien, said Notice to indicate an interest rate of
6 % per annum, all as set forth in Sections 5890 and 5891 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Notice of Lien be transmitted to the Auditor cf the
City of Alameda and to the Tax Collector of the City of Alameda for their respective action pursu-
ant to Sections 5893 and 5894 of said Streets and Highways Code.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
18th day of April, 1961, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dungan, Godfrey, McCall, Schacht and President Collischonn, (5),
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
