RESOLLITNN OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CI17 OF ALAMEDA ADOPTING
SPECIFICATIONS FOR FCRNISPING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ONE (1)
NEW, LATEST MODEL, -1,11EEI DRIVE, 2 CUEIC:YARD DUNI? TRUCK,
FOR. STREET DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SANE.
RESOLVE BY THE COUNCIL OF TPE CTTY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing to the City of Alameda one (1) new', latest model, 4-wheel drive, 2 cubic-yard dump truck,
for the Street Department, 'o. MS 5-6.1-8, filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 16, 1961, he,
and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the. hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m.-on goNDAy, mAY 29, 1961, for furnishing to the City of said dump
truck, in accordance with said Specifications and PrOViSiOns. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in tbe City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly markee on the outside,
'Proposal for 2 cubic-yard Dump Truck", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Chaffer of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for seeled bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th
day of May, 1961, 1- the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dungan, Godfrey, McCall, Schacht and President Collischonn, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
