RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ADOPTING
SAFECIFICATICNS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR REPAIR C'
PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE EADE!AAALR, DRIVEWAY, CURH (\ND CUTTER
FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDINC jUNE 30, 1962, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIREOTINC cYry CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, 11.8,1 1! Provisions and Plans for
repair of Portland Cement Concrete Sidewalk, Driveway, Curb and Cutter for the fiscal year ending
Tune 30, 1962, which are numbered PM? 5-61-6 and were filed in the office of the City Clerk on
May 16, 1961;
NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCTL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered aad filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adonted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the pexformance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby, authorized...
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of AlameRa will receive sealed bids up to
the Hour of 11:00 a. m, on THURSDAY, JUNE 1, 1961 for the furnishing to the to of all. labor,
materials and equipment necessary for repairing andior constructing Portland Cement Concrete side-
walk, driveway, curb and getrer An the streets of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1962, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed over and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for Repair of Sidewalk, Driveway, Curb and Curter', or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, 10 the Asporsible bidder who submits tile lowest ano best bid. The right is reserved to 111 0010
any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Special Provisions. ooy be had by any prospective bidder on appli-
cation to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Tines-Star,a notice calling
for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions.
