RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ADOHTINC
SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR THE
INSTALLATION CF HOUSE 12 1F, FOR ThE FISCAL YEAR ENDING
JUNE 30, 19b2, 09 1133 FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLER,
TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special. Provisions and Plans for
the installation of house laterals from the street laterals to the property line, and other work
appurtenant thereto, for the fiscal year ending JUP.e. 30, 1962, numbered PW 5-61-7 and filed with the
City Clerk on May 16, 1961;
NOW THEREFORE, IhE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Speci-
ficatione and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 a. m. on THURSDAY, JUNE 1, 1961 for the furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials and eguipment necessary for said work, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1962, in
accordance with said Specificatione and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City'Clerk, in
the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover ang plainly marked on the outside, "Pro-
posal for Installation of House Laterals", or similar designation,
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject.

Said Specifications and 11) 0' may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th
day of May, 1961, by the following vote, to wit:
