RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF 111E CITT OF ALAMEDA that the Speoirications and Provisions for
furnishing Class Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year
ending Jene 30, 1942, No. MS 5-61-10, be, and the samerare hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, EWRiTITER, that the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing:
Item (a) Quarry Haste;
Ito (b) Earth Pill at City Dump
to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1962, No, MS 5-61-9, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of Cne City of Alameda Dill receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 a. m. on THURSDAY, JUNE 1, 1961, for the furnishing to the City of each ana
all of the above enumerated supplies, in accordance with the individual Specifications and Provisions
therefor, Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside with the designation of the sUpplIes to mhach said
bid applies. Bids may cover one item or a combination of items and the Council reserves the right
to let the contract for any of said supplies to one bidder or several individual bidders,
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the (11 01 bidder who submits the lowest and best bid for any and all of maid supplies.
The right is reserved tm reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this vesolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions,
