RESOLUTION OF TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA COMMENDING
THE ALAMEDA JUNWR CHAMBER OF COMERCE FOR IIS EXCELLENT
INITIATION OF AND PARTICIPATION IN VITAL CIVIC PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the Alameda Junior Chamber of Commerce has initiated and participated in numerous
vital civic projects; and
WHEREAS, at the recent junior Chamber of Commerce State Convention the Alameda Chapter
received a total of nine awards in recognition of the Chapter's exceptional. record in these numerous
projects; and
WHEREAS, the nine-awatd total is the highest ever scored by a California Junior Chamber
chapter;
NOW THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED 1< THE COUNCIL OF THE CIAI 0 ALAMEEA that the Alameda
jenior Chamber of Commerce is hereby commended for i.te initiation of and participation in vital
civic projects as evidenced by the awards made to said Junior Chamber of Commerce by the state-
Pida organization of junior Chambers of Commerce in the year 1961.
, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
16th day. of May, 1961, 9 tho following vote, to mit;
AYES: Councilmen. Dungan, Godfrey, McCall, Schacht and President Collischonn, (5).
