WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Flans for
reconatruction. and resumfacing ca. Buena Vista Avenue fram Park Street to Grand. Street, numbemed
PW 5-61-8 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on June 6, 1961;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TUE CITY 1 ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Spaaificationa, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and flied as aforesaid, be, and tbe some are
hereby approvea and adopted.
RESCIVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said. Speci-
fications and Provisions be, .anal tee sam is hareby authorised.
RESOLVED, WRIERS, that the Council of the Cjty of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the. hour of 11:00 a. m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 16, 1961 for furnishing so. tne City of all labor, qateriaJa,
tools end equipment necessary for the aark '1+ '7.7, referred to, in. accordanne with said Specifi-
cations and Provisions. Bide must be presented to the.. City Clerk, in the. City Hall, Alameda,
CalifaTnia, under sealed cover and plainly. marked on the outside, "Proposal for Reconstruction and
Resurfacing on Buena Vista Avenue from Park Street to Craad Street', or similar designation,
Contract, if awarded, will be. awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right. is
