RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ADOPTING
STANDARDS FOR STREET LIGHTING ELECTROL1ERS.
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that standards for street lighting electroliers
be modified;
NOW THEREFORE, 13E TT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that all new installations,
and replacements wherever possible, of street lighting electroliers shall be of the "mercury vapor"
type; all other particulars, design, etc., of said installations or replacements shall be as recommended
by the Bureau of Electricity of the City of Alameda, as approved by the City Engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all previous resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
rescinded to the extent of such conflict.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled cn the
15th day of August, 1961, by the following vote, to wit;
