RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FIXING THE
RATE AND LEVe..ING A TAX ON 07 REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN
Till CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1961-1962 AND
APPORTIONING ThE 3437 AMONG THE SEVERAL FUNDS OF THE CITY,
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the rate of city taxes to be levied for
the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1961 and ending Tune 30, 1962, upon all property assessed for taxa-
tion ithin the corporate limits of the City of Alameda an the basis of the valuation thereof 35
sho.n by the assessment rolls in the office of the City Assessor of said City be, and the same is
hereby, fixed as follows:
At the rate of two hundred and forty cents (240e) on each one hundred dollars ($100)
of assessed valuation of said property on the Unsecured Roll; and
At Che rate of two hundred and forty cents (240c) on each one hundred dollars (7100)
of assessed valuation of said property on the Secured Roll; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, for the purpose of raising the necessary revenue for said City
for the fiscal year 1961-1962, a tax be, and the same is hereby, fixed and levied on each and every
one hundred dollars ($100) of assessed valuation of all taxable property', real and personal, within
the corporate limits cf said City, as fellows:
On property en the Unsecured Roll, at the rate nf Two and 40/100 Dollars ($2.40); and
On property on the Secured Roll, at the rate of Two and 40/100 Dollar's (57.40); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said tax, and the moneys arising therefrom, when collected,
shall be, and the same are hereby, appropriated to and apportioned among the several funds, special
purposes and bonded indebtedness of the City hereinafter designated, in the proportion and amounts
respectively set forth opposite each such designated fund, special purpose or indebtedness, as
follows:
