CITY OF ALAMEDA, RESOLUTION NO. 6276
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF CONTRACT MB ALAMEDA CHAMBER 'OF CONMERCE FOR
ADVERTISING FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1962, AND
APPROPRIATING $19,720. FOR SUCH PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Alameda Chamber of Commerce is willing to undertake the work of advertising the
City of Alameda and to carry on all the necessary publicity for said City during the fiscal year end-
ing June 30, 1962; and
WHEREAS, the production of such advertising and publicity requires special services 1 a
professional and technical nature and special technical skill and facilities;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESMED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CFN OF 0. '1 that the City of Aiameds
enter into a contract ulth the Almneda Chamber of Commerce for the carrying on by said Chamber of Com-
merce of all necessary publicity and advertising on behalf of the City of Alameda for the fiscal yenx
endina june 30, 1962,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that a form of contract to be entered into by and between the Alameda
Chamber of Cmmnerce and the City of Alameda, submitted to the Council and filed with the City Clerk
of the City of Alameda on October 3rd, 1991, and the terms, agreements and provisions thereof be, and
the same are hereby approved.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Mayor of the Cit of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of the City of Alameda, a contract substantially
in the form and containing the covwnents, agreements and provisions 8et forth in the aforesaid form
of contract.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that pursuant to Ordinance No. 621 New Series, as amended by Ordinance
No 962 New Series, the sum of $19,720.00 be and is hereby appropriated out of the General Fun of
the City to be used for publicity or advertising for said City for the fiscal year ending June 30,
1962, in the manner and for the purposes provided in said Ordinance No. 621 New Series, as amended.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regmicr meeting assembled on the 3rd
day of October, 1961, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Godfrey, McCall, SchachC and President Collischonn, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Dungan, (1).
