RESOLUTION OF '1. COONCEL OF THE CUT'S OF ALAMEDA ADOPTINC
SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR RESURFACING
HUH ASPHALT CONCRETE OF A PORTION OF THE EXISTING CITY OF
P31' >31301 MNICIPAL GOLF COURSE PARKING LOT ON RAY FARM ISLAND,
CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING OILY CLERK TO AMVERTISE
WHEREAS, the City EnginEer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
resurfacing with asphalt concrete of a portion of the existing City of Alameda Municipal Golf Course
Parking Lot on Bay Fsna Island, dembered "1 10-61-16 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on
October 3, 1961;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CIAY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforeeaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Speci-
fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council ef the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11.00 o'clock arm. on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13, 1961, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, under' sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Resurfacing of a Portion of the Golf Course Parking Lot with Asphalt Concrete, No. PW 10-61-16m, or 01
similar designEtion.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of 11>1 Charter of the City
of Alameda, to 31, 01 bidder who submits the lowest and bast bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all. bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
(be City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is 'hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in. accordance with the provisions of this resolution. and of said Specifications and
Provisions.
