RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ADOPTING
SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA TWO (2)
NEW, LATEST MODEL, 1962 FOUR-DOOR, EIGHT-CYLINDER SEDANS WITH
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions
for furnishing to the City of Alameda two (2) new, latest model, 1962 four-door, eight-cylinder
sedans with automatic transmisSion, No. MS 11-61-17, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
November 21,1961, be, and the same are hereby approved and adapted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 10:00 o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 1961, for furnishing to the City of
said automobiles, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented
to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked
on the outside, "Proposal for Two (2) 1962 Four-Door, Eight-Cylinder Sedans", cr similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
21st day of November, 1961, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dungan, McCall, Schacht and President Collischonn, (4).
NOES: None.
NOT VOTING: Councilman Godfrey, (1).
ABSENT: None.
