RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA IN APPRECIATION
AND COMMENDATION OF THOMAS L. FERRO FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA.
WHEREAS, THOMAS L. FERRO has served the City of Alameda as a member of the City Planning
Board for the period from February 7, 1950, to April 3, 1951; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ferro was subsequently appointed to membership on the Civil Service Board
for the term commencing July 1, 1952, and has .served continuously in this capacity since that
time, and has also acted as President of said Board; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ferro has been a faithful member of these two Boards and has actively parti-
cipated in the performance of their respective duties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda does hereby express
to Mr. Ferro its gratefulness for his contribution of time and effort on behalf of the proper func-
tions of these important Boards; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk forward a copy of this resolution to Mr.
Ferro as a token of the Council's appreciation and commendation for his valuable service to the
City, and to extend its best wishes for his continued good health and happiness.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
21st day of November, 1961, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dungan, Godfrey, McCall, Schacht and President Collischonn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Nnne.
