RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ADOPTING
SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ONE
(1) NEW, LATEST MODEL, TWO CUBIC YARD DUMP TRUCK WITH DUAL
REAR' WHEELS, COMPLETE WITH HOIST AND DUMP BODY INSTALLED,
FOR THE PARK DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCTL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions
for furnishing to the City of Alameda one (1) new, latest model, two cubic yard duiro truck with
dual rear wheels, complete with hoist and dump body installed, for the Park Department, Nn, MS
12-61-22, filed in the office of the City Clerk on December 19, 1961, he, and the name are hereby
approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids op
to the hour of 1000 o'clock a.m. on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 10, 1962, for furnishing to the City of
said dump truck, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must Inc presented
to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked
on the outside, "Proposal for two cubic yard Dump Truck with Dual Rear Wheels", or similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.

Introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
1.9th day of December, 1961, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dungan, Godfrey, McCall, Schacht and President Ccllischonn, (5).
NOES: None.
