RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA REQUESTING
GOVERNOR OF THE STATE CF CALIFORNIA TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE
SPECIAL CALL TO THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
IN YEAR 1952 THE MATTER OF THE TAX RATE OF 3AY AREA AIR
POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AL/VEDA that the Governer of the State of
California is hereby requested to include within the special call to the Legislature of the State
of California, in the year 1962, the matter of an applicable maximum tax rate for the Bay Area
Air Pollution Control District,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda, by adoption of this
resolution, expresses no opinion regarding the amount of said fax rate but does feel it proper
that the Legislature should consider this matter at its earliest opportunity.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
19th day of December, 1961, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Eungan, Godfrey, McCall, Schacht and President Collischonn, (5).
NOES: None.
