RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ORDERING THE
VACATION OF A. CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES (SEWER).
(UNIT 3, SOUTH SHORE).
SE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that that certain easement heretofore
dedicated for public purposes, being situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows:
A portion of that certain 10.00 feet wide sewer easement delineated within
Lot 1 as said easement ard lot are shown upon that certain map entitled "TRACT 1986 -
SOUTH SHORE UNIT NO. 3 - ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA", recorded December 31, 1956 in 3ook 39
of Maps, at page 41, Records of Alameda County, California, said portion being more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the poinc of intersection of the northwesterly tine of Broadway
with the centerline of said sewer easement as said lines are shown upon said Map;
thence from said point of beginning S 34' 17' 10" W 5.063 feet to the southwesterly
sid e. line of said easement; thence along said side line r 65 08' 20" 0 404.918 feet;
thence N 26' 11' 02" E 10.003 feet to the northeasterly Side line of s ald easement;
thence along said last named line S 650 08' 20" E 403.347 feet to said northwesterly
line of Broadway; thence along said northwesterly line S 34° 17' 10 W 5.069 feet to the
point of he3inning,
is hereby ordered vacated pursuant to the provisions of Sectinn 50+43 of the Government Code of the
State of California.
BE IT FiRTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda hereby finds and declares
that (1) the easement ordered vacated herein is unnecessary for present or prospective public use,
and (2) said easement was dedicated and accepted by the City of Alameda on December 22, 1.958 and Sas
not been used, continuously or otherwise, to the date of this resolution, january 2, 1962.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
2nd day of :January, 1962, by the following vote, to wit.
AYES.: Councilmen Dungan, Godfrey, McCall, Schacht and President Collischonn, (5).
