CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOUTION NO. 6315
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF 1133 (33133 MN APPRECIATION
AND COMNMNDATION OF MRS. DOUGLAS D. STAFFORD FOR HER SERVICE TO
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA,
WHEREAS, MRS. DOUGLAS D. STAFFORD was appointed as a member of the Social. Service Board
of the City of Alameda an January 5, 1954, and has served in this capacity since that Lime; mind
WHEREAS, Mrs. Stafford has given wholeheartedly of her time and effort in the performance
of the functions of this Board and has actively participated in its worthwhile. program for the
benefit of the less fortunate citizens of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council cf the City of Alameda does hereby express
to Mrs. Stafford its sincere gratitude for and commendation of her faithful service during her
tenure of membership on the Social Service Board of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk forward a certified copy of this resolution Lc
Mrs. Stafford as a token of the great esteem and appreciation of the City Council for her constant
endeavors on behalf of the welfare of so many people, and to extend its felicitations for her
continued gaud health and happiness,
