RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA. that (1 Specifications and Firovisions for
furnishing to the City of Alameda eight (8) new, 3-cylinder, 4-door sedans, 1962 model, with auto-
matic transmission, for the Police Department, No. MS 2-62-1, filed in the office of the City Clerk.
on February 6, 1962, be, and the same arc hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that. the Council of the City 21 Alame21 a. will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 11100 o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, FEBRUAllif 27, 1962, 211 furnishing to the City of said
Specifications and Provisions° Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Mall, Alamedn,
California, under sealed coveroand plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Eight. (8) 4-door
Seeans for the. Police Department", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awnrdtd subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the renponsible bidder who submits the lovmmt and best. bid. The right. is reserved Le reject
any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed re advertise, in thc Alameda. Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the proadsiona of this resoletien and of said Specifications
and Provisians.
