WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and, Plans for
the installation. of culvert. at Central Avenue and Fifth Street, and Storm Drainage Work on Santa
Clara Avenue at Fourth, Fifth nnd Sixth Streets, numbered KW 2-62-3 and filed the office of the
City Clerk on. February 20, 1962;
NOD, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OT 2,. .o\ that the aforesaid.
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and fdopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in sald Speci-
fications arid Provisions be, 0, 31 same is. hereby authorized.
RHSCIVER, DdRibER, that the Council of the Cicy of Alameda will receive. sealed bids up to
the hour' uf 11:00 o'clocb a.m. on FRIDAY, GARCH 2, 1962, for furnA3hing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment. necessary for the work 'c v" referred to, in accordance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the CDty Rail,
Alameda, California, under sealed cover an,d plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Installa-
tion. of Culvert at Central Rmenue and 5th Street and Storm Drainage Womb on Santa Clara Avenne nt
4th, 5th and 6th Streets', or similar designation—
