RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OE ALAMEDA AUTHORIZING
ADDITIONAL INTERIM COMPENSATION To ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY
PENDING APPOINTMENT OF NEW CITY ATTORNEY.
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the position of City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the City Council must make an appointment CAD fill this vacancy; and
WHEREAS, such vacancy will exist for an undetermined period of time; and
WHEREAS, during this interim period the Assistant City Attorney will be carrying on the
functions of this office;
NOW THEREFORE, BE Tr RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the salary of the
current incumbent of the position of Assistant City Attorney be established at_$800.00 per month,
effective May 1, 1962, to continue at such amount until the date of appointment of a City Attorney,
at which time such salary shall revert to the salary range le effect at that time for Assistant City
Attorney, and to the step in such salary range which is In accordance with the total length of City .
service of the incumbent.
