FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1963, QUARRY WASTE AND CLASS "3"
PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE 15'' s' MIX, CALLING FOR EIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA teat the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing QUARRY WASTE to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1963, No 13",
5-62-5, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing CLASS vB" PORTLAND
CEMENT CONCRETE TRANSIT MIX to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1963, No. MS
3-62-3, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Algameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of t1:00 a, p. on THURSDAY, MAY 31, 1962, for the furnishing to the City of each and all
of the above enumerated supplies, in .13(013 81013 with the individual Specifications and Provisions
therefor. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Pall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside with the designation of the supplies to which said
bid applies. Bids may cover one item or 13 . combination of items and the Council reserves the right
to let the contract for any of said supplies tp one bidder or several individual bidders.
Contracts, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest, and best bid for any and all of said supplies.
The right is resergpd to reject any or all bids.
The City C)erk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said ,.l) 1113(13131(13 and
Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in reguLar meeting assembled on the
15th day of May, 1962, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Godfrey, McCall, Rose and Vice President Schacht, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT. President CaJlischonn, (1).
