RESOLUTION OF DIE COUNCIL OF THE CITY nF ALAMEDA. ADOPTIN
SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PILAFS FOR INSTALLATION

ADVERTISE SAME.
WEEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the installation of a storm sewer on Page Street from Taylor Avenue to south of Washingten Park,
numbered PW 6-62-12 and filed in the office of the City Clesimh on June 6, 1962;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COONCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
'4 4., Special Provisions "'31 41' numbered and filee as aforesaid, be. and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, 7JRTAE1, that the performabGe and completion of the work specified in said
Specificationa and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authori%ed.
RESOLVED, 443 that the Council of the City of Alameda witl receise sealed bids up
to the hone of 1100 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 15, 1962, for Furnishing so the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in Che City
Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marbed on the outside, "Proposal for
installation of a Storm 41," on Page Street from Taylor Avenue to South of Washington Park", or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, ab his office in the City Mall, Atlameda, California.
141 City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specificat one and
Provisions.
1, the undersigned, Bereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regular'y
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
fith day of June, 1962, by the following vote, to wit,
AYES: Councilmen Godfrey, FcCall, Rose, Schacht and President Co!!ischonn. (5),
NOES: None.
