RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ADOPTINC
SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ONE
(I) LATEST MODEL 1250 GPM CLASS "A" PUMPER AND
EQUIPMENT, FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
RESOLVED ay THE COUNCIL of THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions
for furnishing to the City of Alameda one(1) new, latest mode; 1250 GPM Class "A" Pumper and
Equipment, for the Fire Department, No. MS 8-62-6, filed in the office of the City Clerk oa
August 21, 1962, he, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FCRTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed h/ds up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on 1MESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 1962, for furnishing to the City of,
said pumper and equipment, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must. he
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under seated cover and
plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for 1250 GPM Class "A" Pumper and Equipment", or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and hest hid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the AlaMeda Times-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
21st day of August, 1962, by the following vote. to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Godfrey, McCall, Rose, Schacht and President Collischonn. (5)

ABSENT: None.
