RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF ALAMEDA ACKNOWLEDGING
FINAL PAYMENT ON A. CdERTAIN LAND SALE TRANSACTION, AUTHORIZING
THE SURRENDER OF DEED 0' TRUST AND PROMISSORY NOTE SECURING
SAM, AND DIRECTING :MAYOR CO REQUEST A RECONVEYANCE TO THE
PURCHASER (PORTION OF ENCINNI HOuSIWj PRoJECT -- 33.2 ACRES --
55(15 PACKER ASSOCIATION).
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1268 co N Series, the City of Alameda sold to the Alaska
Packers Association approximately 33.2 acres of land, the purchase price payment for which was
secured by a Deed of Trust and Promissory Note dated May 13, 1958; and
WHEREAS, the final payment in accordance with the terms of said promissory note was made
by the purchaser on May 2, 1962; and
WHEREAS, all obligations of the purchaser under the contract of sale dated May 21, 1958,
have been fully performed;
NOW THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED 3Y IRE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City Clerk
is hereby directed to deliver to the Trustee, for purposes of cancellatRon, the aforesaid Deed of
Trust and Promissory Note, and the Mayor is hereby directed to request, pursuant tb the terms oi
said Deed of Trust, that: the 10' 01 execute a rebonveyance to the purchaser, Alaska Packers
Association.

introduced and adopbed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
4th day of September, 1962, by the following vote, to wic:
