ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
INSTALLATION OF CULVERTS AT BUENA VISTA AVENUE AND PEARL
STREET AND AT VERSAILLES AVENUE AND YOSEMITE AVENUE, CALLING
FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications. Special Provisions and Plans for
the installation of culverts at Buena Vista Avenue and Pearl Street and at Versailles Avenue and
Yosemite Avenue, numbered PW 12-62-18 and filed in the office, of the City Clerk on December 4, 1962;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
CO the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14, 1962, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work herelnabove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Installation of Culverts,at Buena Vista Avenue and Pearl Street and at Versailles
Avenue and Yosemite Avenue", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is
reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at his office ln the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifica-
tions and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda In regular meeting assembled on the
4th day of December, 1962, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Godfrey, McCall, Rose, Schacht and President Collischonn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None,
