AMENDING SALARY RESOLUTION NO. 6366 BY DELETING ONE POSITION
OF POLICE INSPECTOR AND CREATING ONE ADDITIONAL POSITION OF
POLICE SERGEANT IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
HE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that a portion of Section 2 of Reso-
lution No. 6366 be amended by deleting ore position of Police Inspector and creating one additional
position of Police Sergeant in the Police Department, as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this resolution shall be January I,
1963.

RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the provisions of this resolution shall supersede those portions
of Resolution No. 6366, and of any other resolution in conflict herewith, and all such conflicting
provisions are, to the extent of such conflict: only, hereby rescinded and annulled.
