ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO TflE CITY CF ALAMEU
ONE (1) NEW, LATEST MODEL, 1/2 TON CHASSIS CAB TRUCK, INCLUDING
A COMPLETELY INSTALLED SPECIAL ANIMAL AMBULANCE BODY, FOR POUND
DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions fur
furnishing to the City of Alameda one (I) new, latest model, 1/2 Lon chassis cab truck, including a
completely installed special animal . ambulance body, for the Pound Department, N. Ab 1-b3-3, filed
in the office of the City Clerk on ianmary 15, 1963, be, and the same are hereby approved and
adopted.
RESOLVED, FORMER, that rhe Council. of the City of Alameda will receivE scaled bids up
to the hour of 1100 o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, jANDARY 29, 1963, for furnishing to The City of said
truck, in accordance with said Specifications and ProVisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
'Proposal for Animal Ambulance-Truck", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject aay or all bids.
The City Clerk. is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
arid Provisions.
