RESURFACING OF EIGHTH STREET, SHERMAN STREET, CONCORDIA
STREET, PACIFtC AVENUE, CLINTON AVENUE AND PALACE COURT,

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provision" and Plans for
the resurfacing of Eighth Street, Sherman Streec., Concordia Street, Pacdfic Avenue, ClinLon Avenue,
and Palace Court, numbered IN 2-63-1 and Filed in the offiee of the City Clerk on February 5, 1963;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TME COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the eatne are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and 014411149 (0 of the work specified in said Speci-
fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby autherized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER that the 61 114 of the City of 1 1414 il receive seated bids up to
the hoax of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 1963, for furnishing to the City of 41 abor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids mu el, be. presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Pall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Resurfacing of Eighth, Sherman, Concordia, Pacific, Clinton. and Palace Court", or siedlay designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject. to the provialeas of ehe Charter of the City
cee. Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the Invest and best. bid. The right is reserved ea
reject any or all. bids.
Said Specifications and Provelseons Teay be had by any prospective bidder on application. to
the Clty Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda 14 1, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolucion and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
