ADOPTING SPECIFICATION'S, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
FURNISHING AND INSTALL:11,G AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM IN ULM PARK,
CALLING FOR BIDS AND I111. FING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, tha City Engineer has prepared Specificationa, Special Provisions and Plans for
furnishing and inatalling an irrigation system in Lom 31' 33 numbered PW 3-63-4 and filed. in the
offAco of the City Clerk on March 3, 16633
NOW, THEREFORE, BE II RESOLVED 3Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same
a:re hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that tho performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specificamiens and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURKHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive aealed bids up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a,m. on FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 1961, for furnishing to the City of all
labor materials, machinery, tools and 3')] 13)131: necessary for the work herein above referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions, Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, 'Pro-
posal for Furnishing and InstaiJing an Irrigation System in Lum Park", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
Ciiry of Alameda, so the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is
reserve to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directdd ta advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in 3) 1' with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifi-
cations and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution vas duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council el the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
5th day of March, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Godfrey, McCall, Rose, Schacht and President Collischonn, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
