ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
THREE (3) NEW, 8-CYLINDER, 4-000R, SEDANS, 1963,MODELS WITH
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing to the City of Alameda three (3) new, 8-cylinder, 4-donr sedans, 1961 models with auto-
matic transmission, for the Police Department, No MS 4-63-6, filed in the office of the City Clerk
nn April 16, 1963, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive seated bids up to
the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, APRIL 30, 1963, for furnishing to the City of said auto-
mobiles, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for three (3) Sedans for the Police Department", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and hest bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed co advertise, in the. Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said SpecHlcations
and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
16th day of April, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: Non.
ABSENT: None.
