Resolution 06467CITY of ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6467 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR INSTALIAEION CF A STORM SEWER IN FOURTH STREET FROM LINCOLN AVENUE TO PACIFIC, AVENOE, AND STORM DRAINAGE WORK AT LINCOLN AVENUE AND THIRD STREET, CALLEN': FOR !EDS AND DIRECTINC CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provons and Plans for the installation of a storm sewer in Fourth Street from ln 1 Avenue to Pacific Avenue, and storm drainage work at Lincoln Avenue and Third Street, numbered PW 4-63-6 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 7, 1963; NOW THEREFORE, BeEIT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ''94 91, that the aforesaid SpecisfEcatiens, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, he, and the same are hereby approved and adopted. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the, same is hereby authorized. RESOLVED, FURTHER* that, the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 1.1:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 17, 1963, for. furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Installation of Storm Sewer in FourE.h Street and Storm Drainage Work ar Lincoln Avenue and Third Street”, or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid, The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said Specifications and Provisions may he had by any prospective bidder on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call- ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifica- tions and Provisions. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled 01 10 7th day of May, 1963, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
