ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the inetalJation of playground equipment in the 14.00dsto9k Park Tiny Tot Area, numbered PW
and filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 7, 1963;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF (3¼ o' that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performanoe and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will recedve sealed bids up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 17, 1963, for, furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to tbe City Cierk,in
the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the ouLside, "Proposal
for Installation of Playground Eqeipment in Woodstock Park Tiny Tot Area", or similar designation-
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subieet to the provisions of che Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is
reserved to reieet any or all bids,
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had 'y any prospective bidder on application
to the. City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
