ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
RESURFAfING OF GOLF COURSE MEMORIAL ROAD AND A PORTION OF
THE GOLF COURSE PARKING LOT WITH ASPHALT CONCRETE CALLING
FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING crry CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans
for resurfacing of Coif Course Memorial, Road and a portion of the Golf Course Parking Lot with
asphalt concrete, numbered PW 5-63-8 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 7, 1963;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
SpecIfications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to Lhe hour of 11:00 o'clock a. m. on FRIDAY, MAY 17,1963, for furnishing co the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment. necessary for the work hereinabove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Pro-
posal for Resurfacing of Golf Course Memorial Road and a Portion of the Golf Course Parking Lot",
or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subje.ct to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the 1.)-west, and best bid- The right is
reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifiations and Provisions may be had by any prospective 1144(4444 1) application
to the City Engineer, at his office in the CIty Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed Lo advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in. accordance with the previsions of this resolution and of said Specifica-
tions arid Provislons,
