CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6472
CREATING A SPECIAL FUND OR ACCOUNT TO BE KNOWN AS 'GARBAGE
AND REFUSE DISPOSAL. FUND"
WHEREAS, certain. charges for the privilege of depositing refuse, at the City Dump from
passenger cars and station maguns mere authorized on August 15, !9.61..i, and
VIPOREAS, said charges were established tm provide revenues for the purpose of operating,
maintaining and improving garbage and refuse disposal facilities; and
WAEREAS, sadd revenuhs were firsir paid to the Alameda City Garbage Association in reim-
bursement for constrection. of a water eysthm to provide additical fire promechhon. at. said City
Dump; and
WHEREAS, all :obligations in. onnectimen therewith have.. now been met as of May I, 1963, and
said revenues will hatwarter be deposited in the City Ireasowy;
Now THEREFORE, BF IT EESOLVED BY THE CiNUNCLL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Auditor of
the City of Alameda be directed to establish a special. fend or aceonnt to be known as the "Garbage.
and Refsse Disposal Fund and. to deposit. therein all remEmnes derlved from usa of the City Dump by
passenger cars and station. wagons.
BE IT FORTNER RESOLVED tha2 said monies be reserved for use by the Pity in operating,
maintaining and improving garbage and
refuse disposal facilities, including studies of disposal
methods and the acquisition. 1 1 4 roperties related thereto,
