RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL. OF' THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing Class "B" Portland C(mnent Concrete Transit Mix tn the City of Alameda for the fiscal year
sliding June 30, 1111 No. MS 5-63-9, filed in the office of the Cdty CIerk on May 21, 1963, be,
and the same are hereby approved aod adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, hhat the Council of the City of Alameda will reoelve sealed bids up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 31, 1963, for furnishing to tho City of said
supplies, in accordaooe with saTd Specifications and Provisions. Bids must he presented to the City
Clerk, in Clic City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on thm outside,
"Proposal for Portland ComenA Concrete Transit Mix - Fiscal Year 1963-64, or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awaxdod subject to the provisions of the Chanter of saMd
City, to the responsible bidder pHs. submits the lowest and best bid. The right is resexved to
reject any or all bids.
THe City Clerk Is berAby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordAnce with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
