ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
RESURFACING OF THE WASHINGTON PARK TENNIS COURTS, CALLINC
FOR BIDS AND lo.. '1 CITY CLERK TO ADVEMSE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the. resurfacing of the Washingtnn Park Tennis Courts, numbered PW 6-63-15 and filed in the. office of
the City Clerk on June 4, 196.3;
NOW THEREFORE, BE ET RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as afotesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and oompetion of the work specified in said Speci-
fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive. sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 1963 for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hareloabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,in the City
Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Resurfacing of the Washington Park Tennis Courts", or similar designatHon.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded 1,. '51). to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the rasponsible bidder who submits the lowest and be bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hail, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk Je hereby dlr.ected to advertise, In the Alameda 11.'. 0, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance vith the provisions nf this resolution and of sairf Specifications
and Provisions.

introduced ana adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in. regular meeting assembled on the
